I was born and raised in the Chicago area and now my family and I are living in Louisville, Kentucky.

I recall receiving my first sewing machine when I was 12 years old. A gift from my Grandmother.  I spent many Saturday afternoons with her and she taught me many of her sewing skills.

My first career job was a flight attendant for a major airline and I was initially based in New York before moving back to Chicago.  I loved exploring different cities which my job allowed me to do.

I modeled clothing part-time which gave me the opportunity to experience the world of fashion.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, reading novels and old cook books.

My most rewarding and challenging job is being a full-time Mom who has raised three amazing boys with my husband; all who are the love of my life!

I dedicate my hat business to my Grandma who always encouraged me to follow my dreams.

I'm sure she would be very pleased with my success as I bring more and more hats, head wraps and mittens to customers who see my creations as local boutiques, arts/crafts shows and buy from my web site.

Such a fun day celebrating "Day at the Races at Churchill Downs. I made my hhat from scraps of silk and lace to match my dress; what a fun project!

Wearing my creation for "Bellas and Fellas Fashion Show. My hat was made from old drapes!

Audrey enjoyed hiking with her three boys and grand-puppy.

Audrey was honored and surprised when one of her original design hats was featured in Louisville's Courier Journal Newspaper - December 28, 2012

Shown on the left is a full page article with hats found around town.

Shown below is the hat featured in their online newspaper.

Playing with her 'Grand-pup', Audrey bundles up against the cold Michigan Lake winds wearing her hat and her coat's hood. "It was a happy but the day was very cold!"

During the cold winter days, Audrey stays warm on her outings with her family. "Even on a bad hair day, I just grab a hat and go!

I'm always stopped and asked . . .

Where did you get that hat?"
